A zesty salad that is a good item for showers, parties, etc. The longer it sits in refrigerator, the better. Ingredients:
1 head cauliflower |
1 bunch broccoli |
1 stalk celery |
1 bell pepper |
1 bag baby carrots |
1 small onion (in rings) (optional) |
3/4 cup canola oil |
3/4 cup vinegar |
1 dash garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 teaspoons poppy seeds (optional) |
1/2 cup sugar |
yellow squash or zucchini |
fresh mushrooms |
cucumber |
Directions:
1. Break or cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces. 2. Mix in a large bowl. 3. Dressing: Mix and pour over vegetables. 4. Let stand overnight. 5. will keep two weeks in refrigerator. |
