Marinated Vegetable Salad |

Easy to make flavorful vegetable salad. Keeps several days in refrigerator. Great for pot lucks. Ingredients:
1 can french style green beans |
1 can petite green peas |
1 can sliced or diced carrots |
1 can white shoepeg corn |
1 can sliced water chestnuts |
1 cup sliced celery |
1 cup chopped onion |
1 med. jar diced pimiento |
1 sm. diced bell pepper |
marinade |
1 cup salad oil |
1 1/2 c. sugar |
1 c. white vinegar |
2 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. black pepper |
Directions:
1. Drain all canned vegetables well. Mix all vegetables together. 2. Bring to a boil all marinade ingredients. 3. Let cool thoroughly. 4. Pour marinade over vegetables, mixing well. 5. Cover and chill well before serving. 6. Even better the second or third day! |
