This sounds tasty but I haven't tried it yet. It's supposed to marinate overnight. From an old church cookbook. Ingredients:
12 ounces whole kernel white corn, drained |
17 ounces baby peas, drained |
16 ounces french style green beans, drained |
4 ounces pimentos, diced and drained |
1 cup green bell pepper, diced |
1 cup celery, finely chopped |
1 medium onion, chopped |
3/4 cup vinegar |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Bring marinade ingredients to a boil while stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool. 2. Mix all slaw ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour cooled marinade over the slaw. Refrigerate overnight. |
