A wonderful holiday appetizer. Ingredients:
1 lb uncooked shrimp |
1 cup olive oil |
2 minced garlic cloves |
2 teaspoons dried rosemary leaves |
2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves |
2 bay leaves |
1 cup dry white wine |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon white pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine shrimp, olive oil, garlic, rosemary, oregano, and bay leaves. 2. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours. 3. Pour into large deep skillet. 4. Add wine, salt and pepper. 5. Cover and cook over medium low heat 10-15 minutes. 6. Discard bay leaves and serve. |
