Pork loin steaks marinaded with herbs. Great with butternut squash mash. Ingredients:
8 pork loin steaks |
5 large garlic cloves, minced |
10 sage leaves, finely chopped |
2 sprigs rosemary, leaves picked and finely chopped |
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
1 tablespoon water |
salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste (use plenty though) |
pam cooking spray (or other oil spray) |
Directions:
1. Mix together the marinade ingredients to make a paste. 2. Lay the pork steaks in one layer in a tray or 2 flatish bowls. 3. With a small sharp knife make 4 small cuts in each steak. 4. Spread the paste evenly over the steaks, cover in plastic wrap and refridgerate for 3-4 hours. 5. Heat a non stick griddle or george foreman grill and spray the steaks with oil. 6. Cook the steaks for 6-8 mins or until cooked through. 7. Serve with mash. |
