I make these for barbeques. The guys always gobble them up. Ingredients:
1 spanish onion (sliced thin) |
1 cup white sugar (or less) |
1 cup vinegar |
cold water, to cover |
1 cup cold water |
1 tablespoon oil |
Directions:
1. Let onions stand in cold water 1 hour. 2. combine remaining ingred. 3. Heat until sugar disolves and pour over onions. |
