These spicy, tequila-spiked mushrooms can be served on an antipasto platter or as a side dish with steak. Ingredients:
1/4 cup tequila |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon cracked pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
2 garlic cloves, halved |
1 bay leaf |
1 rosemary sprig |
1 (8-ounce) package crimini mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and stir well. Cover and marinate mushrooms in refrigerator 8 hours. Discard garlic, bay leaf, and rosemary before serving. |
