Marinated Mushrooms

A great addition to your hors d'oeuvre platter for your next cookout. From Pampered Chef.
Ingredients:
2 lbs fresh mushrooms (medium, 50-60)
2 cloves garlic
1 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
12 whole black peppercorns
Directions:
1. Clean mushrooms and set aside.
2. Crush garlic.
3. For marinade, combine all ingredients in Dutch oven.
4. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
5. Add mushrooms; simmer,uncovered, 10 minutes.
6. Remove from heat.
7. Let stand until cooled slightly.
8. Transfer mushrooms and marinade to container; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
9. To serve, drain marinade from mushrooms.
10. Transfer mushrooms to serving dish.
