Flank steak is one of my favorite cuts of beef. It takes on the flavor of marinates well and has a great texture. I like to serve this with steamed rice and sugar snap peas. Times do not inclued the stay in the refrigerator. Ingredients:
2 lbs flank steaks, aproximately |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
1/2 cup red wine |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons honey |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 shallot, minced |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except steak in a sealable plastic bag. Place steak in the bag and close, squeezing out as much air as possible. 2. Let set in the refrigerator for 3 hours or up to overnight. 3. Grill to desired doneness and slice thinly on the bias. |
