Marinated Filet Mignon With Flavored Butter |

Allow time for the meat to marinate at least 2 hrs. or overnight. Mouth Watering... Ingredients:
6 small filet mignon steaks, about 1 3/4 to 2 inches thick |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary |
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme |
2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
Directions:
1. Place filets in a re-sealable plastic bag. 2. Combine the marinade ingredients in a glass bowl or measuring cup. 3. Pour the marinade over the filets, seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. 4. Thoroughly combine the butter, worcestershire sauce and mustard. Set aside until the steaks are cooked. 5. Remove the filets to a warm platter. Place about a teaspoon of flavored butter on top of each filet. |
