Great appetizer! My husband love it! Ingredients:
10 hard boiled eggs |
2 cups apple vinegar |
2 cups cold water |
1 cup white onion, finely chopped |
(i had only red one at the moment so i've use it and the eggs took a little from its color) |
1 fresh bay leaf |
some black bean seeds |
1 tbsp salt |
1tbsp sugar |
Directions:
1. Peel the eggs. 2. On the bottom of a large and big jar, pour the sugar, the salt, the black paper and the bay leaf. Arrange the eggs (without cutting them) into the jar. Drop the chopped onion into the free space between the eggs. Fill with the vinegar and the water. Close very well the jar and shake it a few seconds. Place the jar into the refrigerator and allow to rest about 2-3 days. 3. After that time, they are ready to be sliced and served with any kind of dips, sauces, mustard, mayonnaise.... with roasted vegetables or into the green salads. |
