always reminds me of summer, cucumbers marinated in a sweet-salty vinegar brine Ingredients:
1 cucumber |
1/4 cup vinegar |
3/4 cup water |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 dash pepper |
Directions:
1. slice the cucumber very thinly and sprinkle with salt, let stand for an hour. 2. combine all other ingredients in a bowl, stir, chill. 3. add cucumbers, cover and marinate in fridge over night. 4. store uneaten cucumbers covered in brine in fridge. |
