This is a tangy, sweet and sour unusual sidedish. Ingredients:
1 103/4 oz can tomato soup |
1 cup sugar |
3/4 cup white vinegar |
1 t dry mustard |
1 t worcestershire sauce |
1 green bell pepper |
1 small white onion, diced |
5-6 large carrots, sliced and steamed ( or 1 10 oz package frozen sliced carrots.) |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine tomato soup and sugar, mixing until sugar dissolves. 2. Stir in vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. 3. Mix in peppers, onions and carrots. 4. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 1 to 2 hours before serving. |
