Marinated Brussels Sprouts |

This is an incredible side dish, especailly if you love brussels sprouts. I obtained this from an estate sale and have made it several times. It is yummo/ Ingredients:
1/2 cup white wine |
1/2 cup red wine vinegar |
1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar |
2 cloves garlic crushed |
1-1/2 pounds brussels sprouts trimmed and cut in half |
3 tablespoons chopped green onion |
3 tablespoons chopped dill pickle |
Directions:
1. Combine wine, vinegar, sugar and garlic in a heavy sauce pan. 2. Bring to boil. 3. Add sprouts. 4. Reduce heat then over and simmer 10 minutes. 5. Transfer sprouts and liquid to a serving bowl. 6. Add green onion and dill pickle. 7. Serve at room temperature. |
