1 medium onion, thinly sliced |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
2 (16-ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (16-ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano |
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Sauté onion and garlic in hot olive oil in a large skillet 5 minutes; add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. |
