Adaptation of a Yahoo Food recipe-I added peas and ham Ingredients:
8 oz elbow macaroni or fettuccine |
1 1/4 cups fat free chicken broth |
4 tsp flour |
83.33 grams philadelphia light cream cheese spread |
3 tbs light grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 tsp nutmeg |
1/8 tsp pepper |
1 tbs parsley |
240 grams ham fat free |
1 cup peas |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta. 2. Cube the ham and cook the peas. 3. Combine broth and flour; stir in cream cheese, parmesan cheese, nutmeg, pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. 4. Combine with ham, peas, and pasta. Sprinkle with parsley if desired. |
