This is a great side if you love rice as much as I do.... Ingredients:
1 2/3 cup evaporated milk |
1 1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese |
1 pound can of tomatoes |
1 tablespoon parsley flakes |
1/2 medium onion, minced |
1/4 cup melted butter |
1 2/3 cup minute rice, uncooked |
dash cayenne pepper |
dash, oregano |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (the real stuff) |
Directions:
1. Heat milk, butter, and cheddar cheese until cheese is melted. 2. Place layer of rice, tomatoes, seasonings, onion, and cheese sauce in casserole; repeat layers. 3. Top with parmesan cheese. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. |
