Marcus Samuelsson's ginger beer recipe - it's really good. I love the orange juice with the cloves and cardamom! Cooking time is chilling time. Ingredients:
4 limes, juice of |
1 cup orange juice |
4 cups water |
2 pieces ginger, peeled and coarsely grated (each 3 inches) |
1/2 cup sugar |
4 cloves |
4 cardamom pods |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour into a bowl and let cool. 2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 1 day. Strain before serving! |
