2 15 oz. cans sauerkraut, drained |

2 cloves garlic chopped fine |
salt and pepper to taste |
2 8 oz. packages cream cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage and onion, drain. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and let sit for 1 hour in refrigerator. 3. The 8 T. of bread crumbs go in this mixture. 4. After the mixtures sets shape into balls, roll in flour, dip in egg mixture of 4 eggs and a little milk and then roll in bread crumbs. 5. Deep fry until browned, usually 3-5 minutes depending on size. I try to make the balls about the size of a walnut. 6. Optional: 7. You can use Italian Mild and Hot Sausage instead of regular Pork Sausage. 8. You can use already 1 tsp. chopped garlic that is sold in jars in the stores. |
