I made this up because I needed to like oatmeal, and I didn't. Now I eat it all the time! Measuring out several days worth of the dry ingredients saves me a lot of time each morning and I never forget the salt! Ingredients:
1/3 cup oatmeal |
1 tablespoon raisins |
1 teaspoon brown sugar, to taste |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
3/4 cup water |
salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. 2. Boil water. 3. Add dry ingredients, and remove pot from heat. 4. Cover and let sit until you are ready for breakfast. 5. This serves 1 person. 6. I make up several batches at a time, so that all I have to do most mornings is boil water and add the oatmeal mix. |
