This is another quick and easy-to-make, moist dessert . It's wonderful to take for a gathering anytime of the year; to a picnic or a holiday party. (Shown in the picture: on right in 9x13 pan) Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup flour |
2 tbsp. sugar |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
8 oz. cream cheese |
1 cup sugar |
1 large whipped topping, divided in half |
3 cups milk |
1 large instant chocolate pudding mix |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375* 2. Mix together butter, flour, sugar and nuts. 3. Press onto bottom of 9 x 13 pan. 4. Bake 10 mins. Cool. 5. _________________ 6. Beat 8 oz. cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. 7. Fold in 1/2 of the large whipped topping. 8. Place on top of cooled crust. 9. _________________ 10. Beat 3 cups milk into 1 large instant chocolate pudding mix. 11. Pour on top of cream cheese mixture. 12. _________________ 13. Refrigerate about 10 mins. to set 14. When partially set, place other 1/2 of whipped topping on top of pudding layer. 15. To achieve marbling, allow spatula to lift some of the partially set pudding mixture into the top layer as you're spreading on the topping. |
