Newpaper recipe for this unsual carrot side dish for the holidays Ingredients:
1 tsp dijon mustard |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp black pepper |
1/2 cup maple syrup- grade b |
1 clove garlic minced |
1 tsp fresh rosemary leaves |
1/2 cup whiskey |
2 lbs carrots, peeeld and cut into rounds |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 6 ngrdients in saucepan 2. Brinf to a boil- simmer 5 minutes 3. Remove pan from heat and slowly stir in the whiskey 4. Return to heat and simmer about 10 minutes or thick and syrupy 5. Set aside, cover keep warm 6. Cook carrots in water till tender 7. Drain, return to saupan 8. Add the glazes and toss and heat trhough |
