Ingredients:
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/3 cup stick margarine, softened |
1 1/4 teaspoons maple extract |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 egg |
1 egg white |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
vegetable cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Cream the sugar and margarine at medium speed of a mixer until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add extracts, egg, and egg white; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves; stir well. Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well. 2. Drop the dough by level tablespoons onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 325° for 10 minutes; let cool on pans 1 minute. Remove from pans; let cool completely on wire racks. |
