1/2 cup maple syrup |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 tablespoon pepper |
1 tablespoon thyme, chopped |
4 garlic cloves, peeled |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
4 (8 ounce) beef tenderloin steaks (1 1/2 inch thick) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except for he steaks in a blender and process until blended. 2. In a bowl or marinating dish combine beef with half of the marinade/sauce and let stand for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. Remove steaks from marinade and discard. 3. Grill steaks, basting with remaining sauce until done. |
