This...is...to...die...for. Made for RSC #10. This multiplies well. I tripled it for guests this weekend, put it in a (LARGE) pan & it still cooked the same. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 cup pecans, broken up |
1/2 cup golden raisin |
6 eggs (you can use egg beaters for up to half - 3/4c) |
2 cups skim milk |
1 cup heavy cream |
2/3 cup maple syrup |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 2. Break up pecans & scatter on the bottom of an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish. 3. Sprinkle raisins on top. 4. Combine remaining ingredients very well with a whisk & pour slowly over pecans & raisins. 5. Bake 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes until just set. Cool & refrigerate. |
