A glaze that tastes wonderful on salmon. Ingredients:
2 fresh garlic cloves, minced |
1 shallot, minced |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 cup 100% real maple syrup |
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice (not from concentrate) |
Directions:
1. In a small pot sauté the garlic and shallots in oil until soft. 2. Add syrup and orange juice and bring to a boil. 3. Simmer until reduced by half. |
