Maple Orange Butter

This butter is great on your baked sweet potatoes or for breakfast on French toast, waffles or pancakes. You can freeze it for up to 2 months
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme (1 tsp. dried)
1 tsp. orange zest
1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
salt to taste
Directions:
1. In a food processor or mixing bowl, blend the butter, maple syrup, orange juice, thyme,orange zest pepper and salt. Blend. Add chopped pecans.
2. Place in a storage container and freeze until needed. Makes about 2 cups.
