I found this recipe at Tops Market. The recipe is courtesy of National Pork Board. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting this for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3/4 cup maple syrup |
3/4 cup coarse grain mustard |
1/2 cup dark brown sugar |
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce |
2 teaspoons soy sauce |
4 1/2 lbs spareribs |
salt |
fresh coarse ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix maple syrup, mustard, brown sugar, hot sauce and soy sauce. In separate dish, save 1/2 cup mixture for basting ribs right before serving. 2. Brush ribs with mixture. 3. Place ribs in shallow pan; cover with foil. 4. Bake in 350 oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until meat reaches 160. 5. Remove foil, brush ribs with reserved sauce. 6. Season with salt and pepper, and serve. |
