From Prevention. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons maple syrup |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1 minced garlic clove |
1 lb skirt steak |
Directions:
1. Whisk maple syrup, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic clove in a small saucepan. 2. Season skirt steak with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and set aside. 3. Heat a lightly oiled grill pan or heavy frying pan over medium-high heat. 4. Cook steak to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. 5. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes. 6. Meanwhile, bring maple-lemon mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. 7. Simmer for one minute. 8. Cut steak across the grain into thin slices and drizzle with sauce. |
