Mmm! Mmm! Mmm! This is a new and exciting way to make eggs for breakfast. This recipe is very forgiving and extremely adaptable to your taste. Ingredients:
6 slices of your favorite deli ham, i used boars head's maple glazed honey coated ham |
6 eggs |
1 tbsp butter, melted |
1 tsp butter, cut in to 6 pieces |
1 tbsp maple syrup |
salt and pepper to taste |
optional - herbs, cheese, onions, diced veggies, etc. |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Brush inside of muffin tins with melted butter 3. Line each tin with a piece of ham 4. Pour 1/2 tsp of maple syrup in each ham cup 5. Put one dab of butter in each ham cup. 6. Crack one egg in each ham cup 7. Season 8. Bake for about 20 minutes 9. Remove from oven 10. Twist ham cups gently to loosen from tins 11. Serve with toast, on English muffin, or biscuits |
