This is a bit different than the other salmon recipes here. It is very quick and easy to make - came from Canadian Living. I marinated the salmon in the glaze for about 30 minutes before cooking. I have fried the salmon and I have also cooked it on the George Foreman - both were excellent. Cooking time does not include marinating time. Ingredients:
1/4 cup maple syrup |
4 teaspoons grainy mustard or 4 teaspoons dijon mustard |
4 teaspoons soy sauce |
2 lbs salmon fillets |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine maple syrup, mustard and soy sauce. Arrange salmon on foil or parchment paper lined rimmed baking sheets. Spoon glaze over fish. 2. Bake in center of a 400°F convection oven until fish flakes easily when tested - approximately 8-10 minutes. |
