Great Recipy for the children to get involed in makeing the meat balls. Ingredients:
meat balls |
1 lb medium ground beef |
5 lb medium gorund pork |
3 large italian sausage |
1 tbsp paprika |
2 tbsp chili powder |
1/2 c milk whole milk , 2%,1%, skim could be used. |
6 thick slices of multi grain bread |
1 tsp salt |
2 tsp pepper |
maple glaze |
1/2 c cili suce |
1/2 c corn syrup |
2 tbsp soy sauce |
1/2 tsp dry mustard |
1/2 tsp all spice |
2 tsp cornstarch |
1/2 c maple syrup |
2 tbsp brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Form Meat Balls: 2. Remove crust from Bread and break into bite size pieces. Place in large bowl and add milk. 3. Remove the sausage form the skin, then combine with all other ingredients. 4. When milk is absrobed by bread, add to mixture. 5. Mix ingredients with hands to blend to gether. 6. If possible let mixture set in fridge over night. 7. Form meat balls to you won size preference. 8. Brown Meat Balls in fry pan with little oil. 9. Place in Slow Cooker. 10. Cook untill done , drain grease. 11. Glaze : 12. Depending on the size of the meat balls you may want to 13. double the recipe for the sauce. 14. Combine all ingredients in Saucepan. 15. Bring to boil on Medium Heat 16. Pour over drained Meat Balls and stir to coat. |
