Maple Glazed Chicken Tenders |

We are always looking for a quick meal to prepare on Wednesday nights. I ususally fix frozen chicken tenders. This is a great way to turn them up and adds great flavor. Ingredients:
0.5 (25 1/2 ounce) package of tyson's frozen chicken breast tenders |
1 tablespoon butter |
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped |
1/4 cup pure maple syrup |
1 tablespoon ground mustard |
Directions:
1. Prepare the chicken tenders in the oven as directed, on a foil lined baking sheet. 2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a medium skillet and cook the onions until soft. 3. Blend in the syrup and the mustard. 4. Cook to a simmer for 1 minute and remove from heat. 5. Add the cooked chicken tenders to the skillet and stir to coat. 6. Spreak glazed chicken back onto the baking sheet and cook 5-8 minutes longer until the sauce is set. |
