This is a quick and easy way to serve carrots to those special guests and family members! Look attractive on the table. Makes enough for a large family or group. Ingredients:
3 16 ounce bags of baby carrots |
4 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup maple syrup |
1/2 cup toasted pistachios |
Directions:
1. Cook carrots in water until tender crisp, about 8-10 minutes. 2. Drain carrots and return to pot. 3. Add butter and salt. Cook over medium heat until carrots are glazed. 4. Add syrup and heat until boiling. Boil 2 minutes, stirring frequently, 5. Pour into serving dish. 6. Top with toasted pistachios. 7. Serve immediately. |
