This recipe is courtesy of Country Living magazine. This bacon goes wonderful with pancakes and syrup. Ingredients:
12 slices bacon |
1/4 cup maple syrup |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1 -2 teaspoon brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, but NOT crispy; drain on paper towels; set aside. 2. In a small bowl whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard and brown sugar; set aside. 3. Return the bacon back to the skillet and brush with glaze, then turn the bacon over. 4. Cook the glazed side down for 2 minutes over low heat. 5. Glaze then turn and cook for another 2 minutes over low heat. 6. Repeat until all the glaze is used up. 7. Serve immediately. |
