This recipe goes with Cornmeal Pancakes with Maple-Fruit Butter Ingredients:
1/2 cup pitted prunes |
1/2 cup dried fruit bits |
1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice |
1/3 cup reduced-calorie maple-flavored pancake syrup |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 10 minutes. 2. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add fruit mixture. Process until smooth. Add syrup and cinnamon; process until smooth. Cover, and store in refrigerator. |
