My family really liked this chicken. When I made this chicken I used sugar free log cabin syrup, dried chives, and I used worcestershire sauce as I was out of soy sauce. I used cut up chicken quarters 2 drums and 2 thighs. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipes.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup real maple syrup (i used sugar free maple syrup)
1/4 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (i used dried)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne, if desired)
2 lbs chicken drummettes (i am using pkg of regular chicken wings both pieces type, about 20)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients except chicken. Place chicken in ungreased jelly roll pan (15-1/2 X 10-1/2 X 1 inch). Pour syrup mixture over chicken, turn chicken to coat.
2. Bake uncovered 45 -55 minutes, turning once & brushing with sauce after 30 minutes until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut. Serve chicken with sauce.
3. Can be served with blue cheese dressing or chili sauce.
