Maple Bourbon Turkey Glaze |

This recipe was featured in Parade's SimplyDelicious November 2005. It has been tried and true season after season as well as a little here and a little there in between. Enjoy! We do! Ingredients:
1 cup bourbon (wild turkey or jim beam) |
2/3 cup pure maple syrup |
2/3 cup ketchup |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, finely minced |
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed |
Directions:
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate, covered, overnight. Brush the glaze over the turkey during the last 15 minutes of roasting 5 minute intervals. |
