The best way to cook chicken drumsticks is to grill them while continually basting with your favorite sauce. You can't beat the sweet and smokey flavors of this recipe. Ingredients:
1/3 cup pure maple syrup |
2 tablespoons cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons dijon mustard |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
8 chicken drumsticks (about 2 pounds), skinned |
cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat; simmer, uncovered, 6 minutes or until sauce measures 1/3 cup, stirring occasionally. 2. Prepare grill. 3. Place chicken on grill rack coated with cooking spray. Cover and grill 35 minutes or until done, turning every 10 minutes. Baste chicken with sauce, and grill, uncovered, 5 minutes. |
