Adapted from Celtic Cookbook. Ingredients:
8 large pork sausages |
flour, for dusting |
4 large onions, finely chopped |
2 ounces port wine |
stock, as needed |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Prick sausages all over. 2. Dust sausages with flour. 3. Place in a skillet and saute until lightly browned. 4. Add onions, wine and stock. 5. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour. 6. Season if needed. |
