Manx Herrings and Priddhas (Potatoes)

Ingredients:
2 medium potatoes, parboiled and thickly sliced
2 whole herrings, cleaned
onion, slices
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Place potatoes in a shallow baking dish.
3. Place fish on top of potatoes.
4. Bake for 10 minutes, or until fish and potatoes are cooked.
5. Serve with raw onion.
