Yogurt , a cultured dairy product relies on healthy bacteria and mild fermentation for its rich texture and mild tang . It makes the cake so moist in the centre dat you can't help it but to fall in love with dis humble dairy product . Ingredients:
1 c sugar |
7 tbsp butter |
3 l eggs , lightly beaten |
1 tsp vanilla essence |
1 c mango flavoured yogurt |
2 1/2 c cake flour , 1 1/2 tsp baking pwd and 1/2 tsp baking soda |
topping |
5 tbsp mango flavoured yogurt |
whip cream , 1/2 c icing sugar and 3 tbsp butter - whipped |
fresh mangoes , sliced |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven at 180 deg 2. Beat the sugar and the butter until wet and creamy 3. Add the eggs and the essence 4. At low speed add the yogurt and the dry ing. 5. Fold into the greased pan and bake for 35 to 45 mins . 6. Cool it . 7. Sprinkle the yogurt on the cake and frost it with whipcream 8. Arrange the fresh mangoes on top |
