Craving something tropical? I found some frozen mangoes in the freezer and decided to give this a whirl. Next time I might throw in some fresh pineapple or banana. This is light and refreshing. I used vanilla yogurt and a little apple juice in place of the milk and still loved it. Recipe courtesy of Southern Food. Ingredients:
1 cup mango, peeled and diced |
1 cup plain yogurt or 1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt |
1/2 cup ice, crushed |
milk (optional) |
Directions:
1. Place mango, yogurt, and ice in a blender or food processor and blend or process. 2. If too thick, add a little milk. |
