MANGO RICE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Steep Estate in Elmo, Texas in 1989. Ingredients:
1 can beef bouillon |
1 can beef consomm |
1-1/2 cups white rice |
1 medium white onion diced |
3/4 stick butter |
1 large mango diced |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and place in covered casserole. 2. Bake at 325 for 1 hour then uncover and place back in oven for 30 minutes longer. |
