Refreshing sweet fruit dessert. My kids love this as a change from heavier puddings. Ingredients:
1 fourteen-oz. can sweetened condensed milk |
1 1/2 to 2 lbs ripe mango, peeled seeded and cut in chunks |
2t lime juice |
1 c chilled heavy (whipping) cream |
sliced bananas or strawberries (optional) |
Directions:
1. Puree mangoes, condensed milk and lime juice in a blender until smooth. 2. Whip cream until almost stiff; fold it gently into the mango puree. 3. Pour into individual serving dishes, or one large dish. 4. Chill for at least one hour, or more. 5. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sliced bananas or strawberries, if desired. |
