I absolutely love mangoes. And being from the South, I drink a lot of tea, iced tea in particular. So I decided to tinker with the idea of the combination of two of my favorite things. This is the result. You don't have to chill this unless you want to; just use ice. Also, the serving size is no where near accurate. I could drink the whole pitcher by myself. It really depends on your glasses and your thirst factor. Ingredients:
4 cups water |
4 small tea bags |
3 (12 ounce) cans mango nectar |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat the water and brew the tea as directed. 2. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Cool slightly. 3. Pour in the mango nectar and give a good stir. 4. Serve over ice or chill before serving. I usually leave off the lemon in this cup o' tea. |
