its an extremely basic recipe but can do wonders to a very ripe mango. Its an old recipe passed on from an aunt. Ingredients:
1 juicy mango |
2 table sugar |
1/2 cup fresh cream |
1 cup milk |
flavoring |
Directions:
1. juice the mange removing the pulp. 2. heat the milk with the sugar until it becomes thick and then add the cream and mango pulp. 3. Stir till the mixture becomes creamy. 4. Add the flavour. 5. Cool immediately and quick freeze till it becomes hard. 6. place in blender and make a smooth mixture to break any ice crystals. 7. place in refrigerator and serve chilled as needed with cherry. |
