Tasty, and healthy, too: Coconut water is high in potassium and other electrolytes. And Flaxseeds are a good source of beneficial omega-3s. Ingredients:
1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen) |
2 pitted medjool dates |
1 cup frozen mango chunks |
3/4 cup coconut water |
1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries |
1/4 cup plain yogurt |
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds |
Directions:
1. Purée 1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen), 2 pitted Medjool dates, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 3/4 cup coconut water, 1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries, 1/4 cup plain yogurt, and 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds in a blender until smooth. |
