A mess. Ingredients:
1 lb eckrich smoked sausage, sliced (or your favorite brand) |
1 bell pepper, chopped |
1 purple onion, chopped |
1 (16 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained |
1 (8 ounce) jar sweet and sour sauce |
1 tablespoon tabasco sauce (may add more, to taste) |
fresh jalapeno |
Directions:
1. Place smoked sausage, bell pepper, purple onion, pineapple chunks, sweet and sour sauce, Tabasco sauce, and jalapeno in the slow cooker. 2. Cook on HIGH for 1–1 1/2 hours or on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, or until bell pepper and onion are tender. 3. Serve on top of a bed of rice, or by itself with a salad. |
