Ingredients:

1/2 tsp. salt |
dash pepper |
4 tbsp sugar |
4 tbsp vinegar |
1/4 cup olive oil |
2 dash tabasco sauce |
4 tbsp parsley |
part ii |
4 tbsp sugar |
1/2 to 1 cup sliced almonds |
part iii |
1/2 head iceberg lettuce |
1/2 head romaine lettuce |
2 green onions sliced |
2 cans (12 to 16 oz) mandarin oranges (drained) |
Directions:
1. Mix Part I ingredients and store in refrigerator. 2. Heat on low the sugar from Part II until melted. Mix in almonds to coat. Store in refrigerator. 3. Combine Part III ingredients and store in refrigerator. (Can also use butter lettuce, spinach lettuce, etc.) 4. Just before serving, mix Part I (salad oil) with lettuce mixture. Top with Part II (sugar coated almonds) and the mandarin oranges. |
